Christine Ramirez

Owner and Provider

I am the business owner, caregiver, and educator of this program. I believe play is essential to children’s growth and development, that predictable routines help children feel safe and confident, and that learning happens through new experiences and meaningful interactions. I am committed to loving your child like my own, keeping them safe and secure, and maintaining open communication with parents.

I am licensed by the state as a family child care home, which means:

  • I have completed 16 hours of pediatric health and safety training covering preventive health practices, pediatric CPR, and pediatric first aid.

  • All adults in the home have passed a criminal background check.

  • My home has been inspected for safety and is subject to periodic unannounced visits by the state licensing agency.

My Curriculum

Helps children grow!

Social & Emotional Development: Promotes cooperation, mutual respect, and acceptance. Children are supported in feeling safe, cared for, and developing a strong sense of belonging. Emphasis is placed on building self-esteem and self-confidence while helping children form positive relationships with peers and adults. Discipline is used as a teaching tool to support healthy social and emotional growth.

Language & Literacy Development: Supports language and literacy through a dedicated reading area, a writing area, daily circle time, and daily story time. These experiences encourage listening, speaking, vocabulary development, and early literacy skills.

Cognitive Development: Encourages thinking and problem-solving skills through early math concepts such as sorting, counting, and measuring, which are incorporated into daily routines and teachable moments. Learning is reinforced through games, hands-on activities such as cooking and science experiments, field trips, and intentional conversations about our community and culture.

Creativity & Physical Development: Provides daily opportunities for imaginative play and creative expression, including visual arts, dramatic play, music, and dance. Children also participate in activities that strengthen both large and small muscles through active indoor and outdoor play.
