Maria Nuno Gomez

Owner and Provider

I am the business owner, caregiver, and educator at NG Little Learners Childcare, a family childcare program in a home-like, preschool setting, an ideal option for busy families. We offer a small, secure environment where children of different ages learn, play, and grow together. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational space that teaches values alongside ABCs and 123s through a play-based curriculum.

I am licensed by the state as a family child care home, which means:

  • I have completed 16 hours of pediatric health and safety training covering preventive health practices, pediatric CPR, and pediatric first aid.

  • All adults in the home have passed a criminal background check.

  • My home has been inspected for safety and is subject to periodic unannounced visits by the state licensing agency.

My Curriculum

Helps children grow!

Overall Development Approach: The goal is for each child to feel safe, secure, and supported at all times. Children are consistently reminded that they are cared for and protected, helping them build strong self-esteem, communication skills, and the ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Learning Environment: The environment is thoughtfully set up to support language, social-emotional, and cognitive development. Children have access to books, arts and crafts, and a dramatic play area, all designed to encourage learning through exploration and play.

Hands-On Learning Experiences: Children participate in a variety of learning opportunities, including cooking activities. Cooking supports multiple areas of development by allowing children to explore different textures, build muscle strength, practice early math skills, and engage their senses through one meaningful activity.

Physical Development: Outdoor time is part of the daily routine. Children engage in physical activities such as jumping, kicking balls, and active play, helping to strengthen their bodies, build coordination, and support overall physical development.
