Social and Emotional Development
To foster social and emotional development, my curriculum creates an environment of cooperation, mutual respect, and acceptance. Children are encouraged to feel safe, cared for, and a sense of belonging while developing self-esteem, confidence, and positive relationships with others.

Language and Literacy
To foster language and literacy development, my curriculum provides a reading area, writing area, daily story time, and daily circle time. These experiences encourage children to communicate, listen, build vocabulary, and develop early literacy skills.

Thinking Skills
To foster cognitive development, my curriculum includes hands-on learning activities such as cooking and gardening to introduce science concepts. Children also participate in field trips and intentional conversations about their community and culture. Early math skills are incorporated into games and everyday experiences, such as counting, comparing, sorting, and exploring concepts like “which one is bigger?”

Creativity and Physical Development
To foster creativity and physical development, my curriculum offers a variety of materials for visual arts, dramatic play, music, and dancing. Children have daily opportunities to use their imagination, express themselves creatively, and develop both fine and gross motor skills through active, hands-on experiences.
